The Senior AI engineer in the GSO/EU Platform team will work together with the regional Platform and brand D&A teams.

The Senior AI engineer will lead and support the lead of the global Community of Experts, which facilitates connecting the AD data professionals on a specific theme within data science (e.g. search, forecasting, personalization) in these CoE the data professionals share best practices, knowledge and algorithms.

The Senior AI engineer will be responsible from delivering analyses to owning scalable AI products that drive measurable business impact and additionally involves ownership of AI systems in production and enabling cross brands AI automation and reusable components.

Key responsibilities of your role.

  • Translate business problems into practical AI/ML solutions with measurable impact.
  • Identify data requirements and prepare, process, and validate data to ensure quality, reliability, and usability.
  • Apply appropriate analytical and machine learning methods based on business needs and technical constraints.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain scalable machine learning models and AI services in production.
  • Develop reusable pipelines, automation solutions, and shared components to improve efficiency and accelerate delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering, platform, and business teams to ensure reliable implementation and integration.
  • Monitor model and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Generate insights from data and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to best practices in testing, deployment, and MLOps.

Requirements.

 

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

  • Strong experience with Azure Cloud Platforms, Databricks and Pyspark.
  • Experience using modern software development practices (IDEs, Unit testing, Version Control, CI/CD, etc.).
  • Experience with generative AI–assisted coding (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) and the ability to prompt effectively, assess suggestions critically, and uphold security and quality standards.
  • Experience in making architectural decisions within domain and ensures model lifecycle management.
  • Advanced knowledge in AI systems design, architecture, and production-level MLOps.
  • Leads development of AI platform components, reusable services, and production-grade algorithms.

Application
