This team supports all our great local brands in finance, HR, IT, legal, communications, sustainable retailing, and other key functions. 

 

IGA Solution Architect

As the IGA Solution Architect, you will be part of the IGA Platform team. This team is accountable for all the IGA capabilities such as Identity Management, RBAC, Access Certification, Self Service Access Request, Identity Analytics, and External User Management.  You will work closely with the Business stakeholders in requirements refinement, collaborating with Architects in creating designs and implementation of new projects as well as optimizing existing solutions.

Working closely with teams across Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, HR, and Business Technology, you’ll help shape how digital identities are governed and managed across the enterprise — ensuring that security and user experience go hand in hand.

Key responsibilities of your role

Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones: 

  • Architect and design end-to-end IGA solutions covering identity lifecycle management, provisioning, access certification, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Define and maintain the target-state IGA architecture, aligned with enterprise IAM strategy and security standards.
  • Lead technical design sessions and collaborate with engineering teams for successful implementation and integration.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (Security, HR, IT, Compliance, Business Units) to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Define and enforce governance models, role engineering, and SoD (Segregation of Duties) policies.
  • Oversee integration of the IGA platform with Active Directory, Azure AD, HR systems, and cloud/on-prem apps.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, recommend improvements, and drive the migration from legacy IAM systems to modern IGA platforms.
  • Develop and maintain architecture artifacts (HLDs, LLDs, integration diagrams, data flows).
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IAM engineers and developers.
  • Drive continuous improvement in IAM/IGA processes, automation, and security posture
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incident troubleshooting during on-call periods, adhering to the on-call rotation schedule (Acting as Ahold Delhaize MoD - responsible 24/7 for driving incident resolution on a rotational basis).

Requirements

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:

  • Understanding of IAM concepts and principles including Identity Lifecycle Mgmt, RBAC, Application Onboarding
  • Have been part of teams that executed greenfield IGA Implementation projects
  • Familiarity with IAM products and methodologies such as SailPoint, IBM ISIM or Saviynt
  • Ability to identify and solve solutions to complex problems to solve business needs
  • Ability to translate requirements into solutions
  • Great collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with working and managing a team of Service Integrators (SIs)
