How you can
make a difference

Your new role and environment.

You will be responsible for managing the evolution of tech-based products. In the context of Digital & Customer Products, these are mobile, web, e-commerce and loyalty products. In the context of the Data Platform team, these are Data Platforms or Data Products. In the context of the Core Retail, these are ERP systems or products created for first line employees. In the context of AdTech or other Platforms, these are again other products.

As a Service Delivery Manager you will also be responsible for developing the product strategy linked to the business objectives, defining a multi brand value-based roadmap, supports the go-to-market required within the brands, and ensures product development delivery, reports out on both business and technical product performance, and ensures the products’ support throughout its’ lifecycle.

Key responsibilities of your role.

  • Engage in consumer research to discover user needs, identify innovative or transformational product/service opportunities.
  • Competitor product analysis to assess market position of own products and the need to improve
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and opportunities
  • Evaluate opportunities, identified customer needs and feature request from stakeholders based on value (customer impact, feasibility, and viability) partnering cross-functionally as needed.
  • Evaluates business value delivered after a product release by performing disciplined post-mortem analysis, ensured data tracking and dashboarding is set up.
  • Manages stakeholders in a complex environment across Ahold Delhaize
  • Manages stakeholders from regional EBS teams (legal, procurement, H&S) or other regional IT teams and platforms (architecture).
  • Communicates on all stages of the product development cycle: Pre-PI, annual planning, intake deadlines, PI-outcomes, release notes, dependency planning
  • Coaching and supporting a team of product team members that operate in cross functional teams to ensure that the solution meets relevant standards and other system quality requirements
  • Provide direction on how to deal with scope and complexity to increase agility
  • Assure requirements meet intake criteria to effectively define workload, feasibility and planning

Application

Job interview(s)

After you have been selected and depending on the role, you will be invited for one or more job interviews. The job interview, which is a two way conversation, will take place online (via Teams) or at the office. You will be informed by the recruiter. This is your moment to shine (but you always do ofcourse)

Online Assessment

When both parties would like to continue the conversation you will be invited for an online assessement, also known as pre-employment tests. The purpose of the test is helping hiring manager determine whether a candidate has the skills, work style, knowlegde of personality to succeed in a the role.
