Global Change Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Global Change Manager to lead and coordinate the change management process for our Identity and Access Management (IAM) functions across a large, complex, global enterprise. This role is responsible for ensuring that all IAM-related changes are managed in compliance with ITIL best practices, minimizing risk to business operations while enabling rapid and secure transformation.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of ITIL change management, strong experience in identity and access governance, and a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams across different regions and time zones.

About Ahold Delhaize

We’re Ahold Delhaize, one of the world’s largest food retail groups and a leader in both supermarkets and e-commerce. Together with our 19 strong local retail brands all over the world, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers, our people and the world around us. We offer a highly dynamic, international work environment in which our employees thrive.

Key responsibilities of your role

Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:

  • Own and govern the global Change Management process for IAM, ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices and company policies.
  • Review, assess, and coordinate all IAM-related change requests (CRs), including provisioning, de-provisioning, privileged access changes, role modifications, and application onboarding.
  • Act as the primary liaison between IAM teams and the global Change Advisory Board (CAB) to ensure accurate risk assessments and timely approvals.
  • Maintain and continuously improve IAM-specific change workflows, templates, documentation, and metrics.
  • Develop and enforce controls to ensure segregation of duties, compliance with regulatory and internal audit requirements, and minimal impact to production systems.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders including IT Security, Service Management, Application Owners, and Infrastructure Teams to align change activities with business priorities.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs/SLAs related to change success rate, lead time, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews for failed or high-impact changes, identifying root causes and recommending preventive actions.
  • Support audits and compliance efforts by providing change records, evidence, and process descriptions.
  • Participate in IAM program governance and transformation initiatives, advising on change-related risks and implementation strategies.

What’s in it for you?

Aside from what we ask of you in this role, we also have a great deal to offer you: plenty of growth opportunities and various cross-brand career options; flexible working hours; a hybrid working model (we ask you to spend at least 50% of your working time at the office); and the chance to drive meaningful change on a global scale. You can look forward to a good work-life balance, and the chance to work in an inclusive environment that wholeheartedly encourages growth and welcomes you just the way you are.

Requirements

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:
