Key responsibilities of your role
Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:
As the global Lead Threat Protection Lead and part of the global cyber defense team, you will:
• Supports development, deployment and maintenance of analytics toolkit (e.g., analytics use cases, playbooks, library of scripts)
• Utilizes and develops algorithms to aid in the discovery of unique events to inform monitoring, IR, and Hunt activities
• Combines, cleans, and normalizes multiple data sources in order to identify patterns and events over a broad spectrum of data
• Performs data profiling and statistical analysis for machine modeling. Generates predictive modelling and identified non-obvious anomalies
• Performs hypothesis testing to validate model performance and to confirm or reject hypothesis
• Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts; contributes to the development of new data model principles and concepts

Requirements
We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant job experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in overseeing SIEM or other detection tool implementations
• Extensive experience in planning and implementing advanced detection technologies.
• Proficiency in advanced security technologies and understanding of their implementation.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or other similar certifications would be advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate in a virtual team
