Manager Defense Operations
Defining & leading the Threat Defense Operations mission and accountable for the outcomes delivered by Threat Defense Operations. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the threat defense team and oversees the activities of the threat hunters and threat defense analysts. Key responsibilities of your role
Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:
As the global threat defense operations lead part of the global cyber defense team, you will:
- Be responsible for defining & leading the Threat Defense Operations mission and accountable for the outcomes delivered by Threat Defense Operations
- Communicate with senior management and other (CD) teams outside Threat Defense Operations and provides briefings at various levels of management
- Continuously monitor levels of service, execute continuous process improvement, establish and embed global cyber defense processes and interactions with the other cyber defense teams
- Responsible for overall people management, recruitment and training of the technical defense operations team
- Coordinates with the cyber defense leads to approve containment and eradication measures
- Provides overall day-to-day oversight and direction to the incident response duty person for technical response action
- Point of contact for (ISO) senior management and relevant business & IT teams related to threat defense operations activities
- Build and optimizes the global cyber threat defense operations roadmap based on input from the cyber defense teams & relevant external (IT) stakeholders
- Ensures the availability of documentation reflecting the interactions and responsibilities with other teams
- Translate the strategic guidance from the Cyber Defense & ISO leadership to tactical & operational activities
- Manage, execute and deliver top performance and fit for purpose security portfolio, programs and projects
- Stay up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats and (IT) trends
- Manage the budget allocations and associated financial forecasts relating to the threat defense operations team
- Lead a global team of approximately 7 full time employees

Requirements
We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:
- Education:
- ​Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cyber security, or related field (master’s degree preferred)
- CISM, CISSP or other relevant (technical) certifications are required
- Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant IT and Information Security experience
- 5+ years of people management experience, preferably in a multinational company
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Technical background in threat hunting or data analytics
- Solid stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
- Strong results orientation to achieve goals
- Familiarity with the retail industry
- Familiarity with IT / Cyber engineering tools, processes and methodologies
- Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken
