Your new team 
As Coordinator Finance Capex, you will be joining our Finance team within European Shared Services. 

Key focus areas of your role 

• Fixed asset accounting, including asset registration and journal postings
• Depreciation calculation and understanding of asset useful life cycle
• Cost capitalization and the ability to distinguish between CAPEX and OPEX
• Asset capitalization, disposals, and write-offs
• Reconciliation of the fixed asset register with the general ledger
• Strong understanding of General Ledger (GL) accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards (IFRS and/or local GAAP)
• Identification of common accounting discrepancies and their resolving
• Resolving more complex accounting entries, discrepancies, and reconciliations
• Participation in month-end and year-end closing activities, financial analyses, and process improvement initiatives
• Strong accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in month-end closing processes
• Acting as a subject matter expert for the process and providing support to other team members
• Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of accounting entries, reconciliations, and overall team output quality
• Handling escalations and addressing complex accounting matters
• Monitoring deadlines, ensuring compliance with procedures, and maintaining high levels of accuracy

The ingredients you bring 
Everyone brings their unique flavor. We believe this role comes to life when you bring the following experience: 

• At least level IV qualification (secondary education), preferrably in Economics
• At least 4 years of years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to work review, coordination, or team support responsibilities
• Strong understanding of business and administrative processes
• Ability to work accurately, independently, and in a deadline-driven environment
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, control reporting, and working with large datasets
• Excellent written and verbal business communication skills in English, including leading meetings and collaborating with stakeholders
