Your new team 
As Fixed Assets Accountant, you will be joining our Finance team within European Shared Services. 

Key focus areas of your role 

• Knowledge of accounting principles and independent journal posting
• Recording and accounting of fixed assets
• Depreciation calculation and understanding of useful asset life
• Cost capitalization and the ability to distinguish CAPEX from OPEX
• Asset capitalization, disposal, and write-off processes
• Reconciliation of the fixed asset register with the general ledger
• Understanding of the General Ledger (GL), account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards (IFRS and/or local GAAP) is considered an advantage
• Identify and resolve common accounting discrepancies
• Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision

The ingredients you bring 
Everyone brings their unique flavor. We believe this role comes to life when you bring the following experience: 

• Level IV qualification (secondary education), degree in Economics or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in similar positions
• Strong understanding of business and administrative processes
• Ability to work accurately, independently, and in a deadline-driven environment
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP), Pivot Tables
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
