How you can
make a difference

Build reliable ESG data that helps shape responsible business decisions.

At Ahold Delhaize, sustainability reporting starts with accurate and high-quality data. As an ESG Reporting Specialist (romanian language), you will play an important role in collecting, validating and maintaining ESG and product-related information that supports reporting requirements across our Romanian brands.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, processes and stakeholder communication, while building expertise in the growing field of ESG reporting.

About the role

As part of our ESG Reporting team, you will work closely with suppliers, local brands and internal stakeholders to ensure that ESG-related information is complete, accurate and available when needed.

You will help maintain data quality, support reporting activities and contribute to improving processes and systems used across the organization.

Your key responsibilities:
-Collect, validate and maintain ESG and product-related data from suppliers and internal stakeholders
-Communicate with Romanian suppliers regarding data requests, documentation and reporting requirements
-Monitor and maintain records related to product certifications and compliance documentation
-Analyze and prepare data in Excel to support ESG reporting and business requirements
-Verify data quality, identify inconsistencies and follow up on missing information
-Support Romanian brands with ESG-related data requests and reporting activities
-Collaborate with teams across Sustainability, Quality, Finance, Legal and IT
-Contribute to the improvement and automation of reporting processes and data flows

-Support the implementation and use of reporting databases and tools

What we're looking for:
-Fluency in Romanian (must) and English
-Good Excel skills and confidence working with data
-Strong attention to detail and an organized approach to work
-Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate with different stakeholders
-Curiosity and eagerness to learn about ESG reporting, sustainability and data processes

Nice to have:
-Experience in reporting, administration, data management, quality, compliance, food safety or a similar area
-Educational background in Economics, Agriculture, Food Technology, Biology, Environmental Sciences or a related field

A role for both experienced professionals and early-career talent

You don't need previous ESG experience to be successful in this role. If you enjoy working with data, have solid Excel skills and are motivated to learn, we will provide training and support to help you build expertise in ESG reporting and sustainability-related processes.

What will help you succeed

We're looking for someone who:

-Enjoys working with data and structured processes
-Is accurate, organized and detail-oriented

-Is proactive when solving problems and following up on tasks
-Values teamwork, transparency and continuous learning
