In this entry level role, Finance Associate Market Billing Officer will provide operational and administrative support to an existing team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily sales-related processes. Key responsibilities include sales turnover control, processing and posting credit notes, and providing additional support to team members as required.

Your new team
The role is an Individual Contributor position within an established team of 16 members and reports directly to the Team Leader. The position plays a key supporting role by ensuring accurate execution of sales administration activities and collaborating closely with other team members to achieve departmental goals.

You will cooperate with members of local team, as well with team members based in Romania, on operational activities, process coordination and support-related tasks.

Key focus areas of your role
Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:

  • Performs daily monitoring of electronic transfers of checks, cash, payment cards, and vouchers from retail locations into the revenue tracking application, identifying and resolving issues that cause data transfer delays.
  • Verifies cash deposits made to the company’s bank account in accordance with the previous day’s sales performance.
  • Reviews received checks and payment card transactions to ensure accuracy and efficient collection of funds.
  • Reconciles collected funds through the application and monitors outstanding receivables.
  • Communicate with retail locations and banks regarding customer or bank claims, as well as the collection of funds not transferred by the bank.
  • Matches and clears open items in SAP related to cash and cash equivalents.
  • Conducts inventory/count of payment cards and checks to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performs control, record-keeping, and monthly calculation of VAT, price differences, and other tax return elements related to the scope of responsibility.
  • Cooperates with relevant inspection and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitors and applies legal regulations relevant to the scope of work of financial governance, reporting integrity and compliance with corporate policies.
