Your new team
As Director Of Corporate Strategy, you will be joining our Strategy team at Group level. You will collaborate closely with Executive Committee members, regional and functional leaders, and cross-functional teams across our international organization.
You’ll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment where strategic thinking meets execution, and where your work directly influences the future direction of the company.

Key focus areas of your role
Drive Group strategy development and execution
You will lead the development of Ahold Delhaize’s 4–5 year Group strategy cycle and ensure alignment across brands, regions, and functions. You’ll connect strategic priorities with financial planning and drive execution through the annual strategic planning cycle.
Lead high-impact strategic initiatives
You will co-create functional strategies and lead enterprise-wide transformation programs that unlock growth and improve long-term profitability. You will ensure structured program management and guide teams toward successful delivery.
Shape strategic storytelling and insights
You will translate market, consumer, and competitor trends into actionable insights, helping the organization adapt and stay ahead. In collaboration with Investor Relations and Communications, you’ll help craft compelling strategic narratives for external stakeholders.
Enable leadership decision-making and capability building
You will design and facilitate senior leadership workshops, decision-making forums, and strategic discussions. In addition, you will mentor team members and contribute to building a strong strategy community across the organization.

The ingredients you bring

- 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting within retail or a similar industry
- Proven track record in leading large-scale strategic programs with measurable business impact
- Strong experience working with senior stakeholders and managing multiple workstreams
- Advanced strategic thinking and ability to translate complex insights into clear recommendations
- Experience facilitating senior leadership workshops and decision-making processes
