Your new work environment
As Finance Support Desk Specialist you will be joining our Finance department. In the Finance department, our goal is rather straightforward: we take care of the finances for the organization and our entire family of 17 global brands. The department spans four sub-departments: Tax and Accounting; Business Planning and Performance; Investor Relations; and Treasury and Insurance. The impact on the organization is tangible: we provide insights that enable our colleagues to offer the right guidance and targets for the business, and drive innovation and change in different domains of the company. Key responsibilities of your role
Â
Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:
Â
- Answer incoming questions from suppliers, colleagues, franchisees, or other external parties
- Use telephone, email, and the Ahold Delhaize Vendor Portal to do so
- Be responsible for your own cases in terms of responses, follow-up, and monitoring
- Be part of the FSD/FSS team and jointly responsible for the total caseload
- Liaise with the internal second line for information or resolution of inquiries
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to jointly achieve solutions
- Act as a point of contact/information for internal stakeholders, for example regarding the status of cases for a specific supplier
- Contribute to analyses and root-cause identification, leading to suggestions for improvements in (financial) processes
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude in your own work and in activities that impact your responsibilities

Requirements
We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma in economics or a related field
- Experience in client/customer oriented roles is a big plus
- Fluency in Dutch & English are a mustÂ

Aside from these hard skills, we think you should also bring some much-valued soft skills to the table: a solution orineted mindset, outspoken communication skills and a proactive approach. In addition to these, orinetation to detail, a customer/clinet oriented attitude & a can do approach will take you far.Â
