How you can
make a difference

As the AD Group Manager Risk & Controls - IT and Assurance, you own and shape the Internal Control Framework (ICF) for AD Group. You will take a leading role in the design and implementation of the global SAP GRC function, ensuring that our S/4 HANA environments GRC program operate effectively to manage Critical Access and Segregation of Duties conflicts.

You report to the Director of Assurance & ERM and work closely with Group IT, Finance, Brand Risk & Control teams, and senior stakeholders across the organization.

As the Manager Risk & Controls - Assurance, you will be responsible for facilitating and managing the assurance program at group level. The responsibilities include being the gatekeeper of the ICF, performing assurance and supporting our business resolving issue. You will work closely with our Risk and Control IT manager, User Access hub and regional IT Risk and Control teams.

Key responsibilities of your role 

Key responsibilities for the AD Group Manager Risk & Controls – IT and Assurance, but are not limited to:

  • Managing relationships with various Group functions with respect to their assurance agenda.
  • Teamwork focused leader to drive the R&C agenda in the organization
  • Monitoring, supporting and reporting on the design / operating effectiveness of internal controls, including the resolution of control issues and findings.
  • Continuous analysis our ICF to identify gaps, weaknesses or improvement areas
  • Part of our SAP GRC function for our critical global SAP solutions, which includes:
    • Keeping the SAP GRC ruleset up to date with best practice and local/ global business requirements.
    • Using SAP GRC tool to identify conflicts and support management in the design of mitigating controls.
    • Being the functional owner the SAP GRC tool.
    • Providing assurance over related SAP controls.
  • Collaborate with Group and Brand R&C teams to develop, maintain (and optimize) the Ahold Delhaize ICF, including upholding R&C standards, and development of guidance as needed.
  • Respond to different ad-hoc projects and requests which require risk assessment exercises or design / implementation of temporary and permanent internal controls.

Requirements

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:

Professional experience 

  • Masters degree in Finance, Information Systems and Technology Audit, Assurance or related fields.
  • One or two relevant certifications such as RE, RA, CPA, CISA or CRISC or equivalent 
  • Minimum years of experience: 8 years in Finance, IT auditing, Internal audit (Experience at a Big Four company is a big plus).
  • Strong communicator, team leader and driven individual to move the R&C agenda forward
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing and/or auditing SAP GRC products (including the SOD/CA ruleset reviews, SOD/CA analysis of SAP S4 HANA roles and SAP S/4 HANA Control frameworks).
  • Experience with providing assurance for IT General Control frameworks for numerous technology solutions including cloud infrastructure services (Azure).
  • Good project management skills and ability to work under pressure and in a demanding environment.
  • Analytical skills to understand processes and challenge and advise on control implementation.
  • Control and risk mindset, critical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (other languages especially Dutch is a plus).
  • Located in The Netherlands.
