Your new job and workplace.
As an intern you directly contribute to delivering on Ahold Delhaize’s commitment to Human Rights, together with your colleagues from the human rights team. You support on key deliverables of the human rights roadmap, with specific focus on supply chains of our own brand products. Where possible, we will also look into your personal strengths and interests for selecting available projects as we onboard you. You will support activities such as:
- Diving into upcoming legislation and mapping relevant developments for Ahold Delhaize brands.
- Contributing to translating regulatory developments into practical implementation guidance on our salient human rights topics.
- Contributing to the content of our annual report.
- Supporting on our social compliance program.
This is a six-month internship starting in September 2026. You will work 32-40 hours per week, partly from our headquarters in Zaandam and partly from home. You will learn about different aspects of human rights due diligence in different food and non-food supply chains, including identifying risks, mitigating measures, monitoring and reporting, communication etc. You will have contact with different departments (sourcing, finance, communication), our Ahold Delhaize Brands and external stakeholders. You will be involved in key projects of our human rights roadmap. At the same time, there is also room to work on smaller projects yourself. That makes this internship versatile and varied, where you will learn a lot about different aspects within Ahold Delhaize.
We think it is important that you can be yourself at Ahold Delhaize in an environment that is open to different perspectives, an environment in which we are curious and value each other.
