How you can
make a difference

As a Project Manager Indirect Procurement, you will play pivotal role in delivering on the NFR savings ambition. You will lead the PEAK program office and lead European, cross-border transformational projects.

About Ahold Delhaize

We’re Ahold Delhaize, one of the world’s largest food retail groups and a leader in both supermarkets and e-commerce. Together with our 17 strong local retail brands in the United States, Europe and Indonesia, we make a meaningful difference in the lives of our brands’ customers, our people and the world around us. We offer a highly dynamic, international work environment in which our associates thrive.

Your new work environment

NFR Sourcing stands for Not for Resale Sourcing. We facilitate the business operations of all our European Ahold Delhaize brands by sourcing the indirect goods and services they need. Put simply, our department buys everything that you see in a store that’s not for sale. Examples of these items are endless, covering everything from flooring and shelving to our ovens, checkout counters and packaging for our private label products. Together with key business stakeholders, our NFR Sourcing Managers define what to buy and who to buy it from.

Our team is based across six countries and is part of our European Business Services (EBS) organization. We’re a truly European department, looking beyond borders to deliver the best sourcing solutions for all our European brands across the Netherlands, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia and Greece. By using one European process, one European policy and one sourcing tool across all six countries, we can leverage scales to maximize benefits and secure the right conditions and best prices.

NfR supports our European brands in delivering savings. With recently increased savings ambitions, the PEAK program was launched to ensure NFR sourcing managers work with a robust savings pipeline and benefit from efficient, streamlined decision-making to accelerate savings delivery.

As a Project Manager Indirect Procurement you will join the NFR Procurement Excellence & Sustainability team which is a staff function in the European NFR sourcing organization. The team focuses on 3 main elements
