As our new BPI Consultant, you will be responsible for analysing, designing, and implementing process improvements across the organization to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and quality. You will work closely together with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for optimization, lead improvement initiatives, and support the organization’s continuous improvement culture.

Your new work environment
Reporting to the BPI Manager, you will be leading business improvement initiatives that realize increased efficiency and/or quality. You will act as the liaison between the different teams in Finance, Business teams, Group, EU, Project Management, and Tech Teams, Business, Group, EU, Project Management, and Tech teams, as well as our outsourcing partner, regarding changes to financial processes and information systems.
You will be using project management skills and Lean Six Sigma techniques to realize smart, scalable and in control solutions. In the projects, the BPI team represents Finance Services NL within the Business Services Finance department and decides on adjustments in the finance processes and the finance application landscape.
In this role, you will work closely with the Product & Process teams to accelerate the Finance Transformation Roadmap and help ensure high-quality financial services across all brands.
Key responsibilities of your role
Building on your project management expertise, Lean Six Sigma toolkit, and stakeholder management, you will deliver measurable improvements through the following responsibilities:
- Driving the change agenda of Finance Services NL
- Gather inputs and help shape the vision, roadmap and project calendar for the brands; contribute to scoping of business development and innovation projects
- Identify, align and direct plans for optimizing business processes and added value of Business Services Finance to the business
- Monitor project progress (scope, timeline, budget, benefits), manage risks and issues, and report on the project portfolio (PMO); maintain strong stakeholder management with Business and Tech
- Drive Business Process Improvement projects to high quality, control and compliance standards
- Proactively identify, scope, design, plan, and implement scalable, robust changes to finance processes and systems for each brand; collaborate closely with Product & Process teams and ensure a smooth handover after project closure
- Act as a knowledge center for finance processes, enabling the organization to optimize processes and explore new opportunities
- Ensure alignment with all stakeholders including brands’ business teams, Tech, Financial Control and the outsourcing partner on progress and results
- Actively work together within the team of BPI consultants and with the Product & Process teams to come to scalable finance processes and products
- Build and maintain a strong network of internal and external stakeholders and partners.

Requirements
We believe you will excel in this role if you meet the following requirements:
Professional experience
- University degree in business studies or business economics, Postgraduate degree in controlling or accounting (RC, RA, RO, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in finance, preferably in finance consultancy, project management, audit, accounting, financial controlling and/or business controlling
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
- Demonstrated project management skills in a high-performance, multi-project environment.
- Fluent Dutch and English
