We are looking for a detail-oriented and logical thinker to join our Finance team. This role supports cost-related accounting tasks for our operations in Serbia.

As an Cost Control Accountant you will be joining our Finance department. In the Finance department, our goal is rather straightforward: we take care of the finances for the organization and our entire family of 17 global brands. The department spans four sub-departments: Tax and Accounting; Business Planning and Performance; Investor Relations; and Treasury and Insurance. The impact on the organization is tangible: we provide insights that enable our colleagues to offer the right guidance and targets for the business, and drive innovation and change in different domains of the company. All our Finance teams are filled with smart, high-performing finance professionals who enjoy pioneering and taking ownership of their work.

 

You will be given the freedom and responsibility to take ownership of your work and broaden your horizons by working together with knowledgeable colleagues from different countries who have an abundance of expertise in many areas. We will continuously support you and help you build on your talents and skills for the future.

 

The Cost Control Accountant will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

  • Processes and posts incoming and outgoing invoices, including travel expense control and manual payment bookings.

  • Prepares and issues outgoing invoices and monitors advance payments.

  • Works in Excel (intermediate level) – including data preparation, formulas (VLOOKUP, SUMIF), and Pivot Tables.

  • Prepares cost-related data for posting in SAP (advantage if experienced).

  • Applies basic accounting principles and understands accruals and cost structures.

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:

Secondary education (economics or other relevant fields)
English language proficiency at B1 level or higher (required)
Proficiency in MS Office package

Previous work experience in similar positions
