As ESG Reporting Specialist (Romanian Language) you will be joining our finance department. In the Finance department, our goal is rather straightforward: we take care of the finances for the organization and our entire family of 17 global brands. The department spans four sub-departments: Tax and Accounting; Business Planning and Performance; Investor Relations; and Treasury and Insurance. The impact on the organization is tangible: we provide insights that enable our colleagues to offer the right guidance and targets for the business, and drive innovation and change in different domains of the company. All our Finance teams are filled with smart, high-performing finance professionals who enjoy pioneering and taking ownership of their work.

You will be given the freedom and responsibility to take ownership of your work and broaden your horizons by working together with knowledgeable colleagues from different countries who have an abundance of expertise in many areas. Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:

• Collects, analyzes, and reports on data relevant to the ESG/CSRD agenda for Profi brand in Romania
• Gather ESG data from multiple sources, including local suppliers
• Verify data accuracy and prepare reports
• Analyze data and perform calculations to support decision-making
• Help streamline data collection processes and automate ESG reporting
• Define and improve sustainability-related data flows, which may involve working with IT on new tool features or updates
• Collaborate with regional teams in Quality, Sustainability, Finance, Legal, and IT—plus external labs
• Educate suppliers on how to use our databases and provide accurate data
• Ensure readiness for audits by collecting and verifying SKU-level data
• Support the smooth operation of new databases and data sets

Requirements:

• A high-school diploma in agriculture, biology or similar field
• Relevant experience is a big plus
• Excellent knowledge of English, Romanian and MS Office suite
