Your new work environment
As Team Manager for Reporting and Analytics, you will be joining our Finance department. In the Finance department, our goal is rather straightforward: we take care of the finances for the organization and our entire family of 17 global brands. The department spans four sub-departments: Tax and Accounting; Business Planning and Performance; Investor Relations; and Treasury and Insurance. Main responsibilities:
- Leads the analytics and reporting team with the goal of delivering high-quality analytical solutions in line with business priorities
- Implements and develops Scrum methodology within the team, plans sprints, and sets priorities according to business requirements, enabling the technical team to focus on development and delivery
- Coordinates EU business requirements in the field of reporting and analytics – collects, harmonizes, and transforms them into concrete sprint tasks and projects ready for implementation
- Identifies digital opportunities in business and transforms them into usable and measurable digital use cases, which are presented and promoted to EU business units.
- Represents the team and the position of analytics within the EU framework, "sells" the value and benefits of analytical and reporting solutions to the business through storytelling and strategic impact
- Acts as the contact person for escalations of technical challenges at the local level as well as for administrative issues within the team
- Sets priorities in collaboration with the IT sector, especially regarding data ingestion, development of data objects, and improvement of data infrastructure
- Ensures the application of data governance principles and standards, including compliance with GDPR and other regulations within all analytical solutions
- Develops the team through mentoring, coaching, and actively participates in the recruitment, development, and evaluation of team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Organizational sciences or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of analytics, reporting, or digital transformation, with at least 2 years in a managerial position
- Advanced knowledge of the English language
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office
- High level of understanding of data ingestion processes, data modeling, and visualization tools (Databricks and Power BI)
