The Manager Global Ethics & Compliance will be responsible for supporting the global Ethics program through administration, data analytics, and reporting of key components of the Ahold Delhaize Global Ethics function, as well as supporting the brand C&E teams in the execution and implementation of global initiatives such as Code of Ethics training and communication and awareness activities.

As Manager Global Ethics and Compliance, you will be joining our Group Compliance team, which also includes assurance functions for Group Asset Protection, Business Continuity, Product Safety and Data Protection. Cooperating closely with all disciplines in the company, both locally and globally, this team is involved in virtually every aspect of the business that has an ethics and compliance component. Key responsibilities of your role
The Manager Global Ethics and Compliance will manage the global whistleblower line for Ahold Delhaize, which includes analyzing, routing, monitoring and conducting quality assurance on investigation process for reported alleged violations of laws, regulations or company policy; provide guidance and support to the brand C&E teams in the implementation and execution of global Ethics initiatives and activity; support the Global strategy and development of Ethics training and communication and identify and apply best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the global ethics program.
Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:
- Manage Global whistleblower line (WBL)
You will provide training on WBL for Ahold Delhaize and brand associates who have responsibility for investigations and/or reporting related to reports received through the WBL. ANd you will amongst other things monitor and perform quality assurance check on reports received through the WBL - Support development and execution of global ethics initiatives aimed at growing an ethical culture
You will work with global Compliance & Ethics teams in supporting brand teams to increase awareness of Ethics issues within the brands. And support roll-out of annual ethical culture survey, annual ethics training, and communications/trainings to support an ethical culture. - Responsible for data identification, collection, analytics and reporting to support global Compliance & Ethics KPIs.
You will prepare periodic reports and statistics summarizing WBL activity, analyze trends and perform risk analyses against other company audit programs such as shrink reporting, core audit, safety and quality assurance and prepare materials, as requested, for senior management and the GRC Committee.

Requirements
- We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in communications, social sciences, law, economics or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Ethics & Compliance or related fields such as Internal Audit, HR, or Legal.
- Fluent in English, other languages relevant for the group’s operating area and/or supply chains are a plus.
- Aside from these hard skills, we think you should also bring some much-valued soft skills to the table: critical thinking, outspoken communication skills and a proactive approach. In addition to these, a high level of creativity, empathy, and enthusiasm will take you far.
