Job’s purpose

Therefore, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Product Owner to lead the Core Retail & F&R solutions within our organization, where SAP Retail serves as the primary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. As the Product Owner you will play a pivotal role in managing demand in areas like Retail Finance, Order & Inventory Management, as well as Forecast and Replenishment.

What you will focus on

  • Support in the development and communication of a clear product vision.
  • Facilitate planning, optimization and execution of various processes related to core retail.
  • Collaborate closely with business counterparts, SAP experts and their Managers, in order to gather requirements and prioritize them in a way to support that the product roadmap addresses company’s demands.
  • Translate Business Requirements to User Stories and Functional Requirements
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it contains well-defined user stories, features, and technical tasks related to the core retail domain.
  • Work closely with cross-functional IT teams, including SAP specialists, and business analysts, to facilitate the successful delivery of product features.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement within SAP Retail as well as other systems in the respective domain.
  • Analyze preferences and requests of end users.
  • Follow applicable Standards, Procedures, Guidelines and Methodologies in the implementation and/or maintenance of the SAP ECC6 platform

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree would be considered a plus
  • 2+ years of relevant IT experience in the retail industry would be considered an asset
  • Very good working knowledge of SAP business processes associated with core Retail and Forecast & Replenishment. Knowledge of SAP SD, SAP MM and SAP FI
  • Experience with SAP F&R will be considered an asset.
  • Experience of complex IT landscapes and large organizations
  • Proficiency in Agile Methodologies (SAFe) and hands on experience in agile tools (Atlassian)
  • Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken.
  • Ability to travel (Europe) up to 10% depending on the nature and the duration of the assigned projects/work
