Does DATA and TECHNOLOGY run through your veins, then look no further: are you the new DevOps engineer with a keen interest in Infra to run all of our data platforms and who can bring our Food and Tech company to the next level?

 

As a DevOps Engineer in the Consumer Enablement team of the Platform Core & Data cluster, you focus on using the latest cloud technologies to architect, scale and monitor our services and products. You will be a champion of systems, infrastructure automation and security. This is a hands-on technical position. The ideal candidate has prior experience in building and managing Cloud Infrastructure that supports (data) applications striving to solve traditional operational problems through automation and software. Of course, none of this is useful unless you possess a high standard of excellence, attitude, solid written and verbal communication skills, have a strong customer focus!


This is how you will reinvent food retail.

  • You drive automation of Cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration management, self-service, Infrastructure-as-Code services, Auto Scale initiatives, and DevOps deployment.
  • You contribute to infrastructure improvements, architecture, development, and deployment.
  • You provide guidance and advice to the team using your strong understanding of Cloud services.
  • You implement security baselines and standards for Azure resources including Network access, restriction of internet-facing resource provision and configuration within the Azure environment.
  • You work with and support application teams in their digital transformation goals.
  • You lead and give technical direction by being a servant leader to the team

Together with your team of engineers, you will work on inspiring projects to accelerate our transition into a hybrid Food & Tech company. We want to leverage data and technology to future-proof food shopping and give our customers the accessibility to healthy food more easily available for everyone. The recipe for maximum impact:

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure management, automation, and related areas.
  • 5 years of experience writing reusable Infrastruce as Code, preferably using Terraform
  • Experience with Github/Github Actions
  • Experience with scripting language (e.g. Shell, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Azure PaaS services such as Azure Kubernetes, Databricks, Key Vault, Storage account, Event Hubs, Azure Kubernetes etc.
  • Cloud knowledge (AZ-900 & AZ-104 certifications from Azure side, or have managed AWS/GCP environments)
  • Proven ability to design and implement secure infrastructure services
  • Experience setting up monitoring and alerting
  • Advising application teams on the usage of various Azure resources and services in a cost-effective way
  • Dutch language is a plus.
