Dive wholeheartedly into these key responsibilities As Digital Product Manager, you are responsible for the “Payment” capability of our omnichannel customer experience (Plan-Shop-Enjoy), focused on helping customers check out, pay their order. This includes the responsibility for the payment ecosystem and evolution of omnichannel payments methods and customer experience.

You are responsible for the evolution of our digital products (mobile, web, kiosk), and our digital capabilities (seamless checkout, loyalty, personalization, etc.). You will develop the product strategy and roadmap and working with our design and development teams deliver digital products and capabilities to our great local brands. You will be helping our customers make their online purchases quickly, easily and securely, and make their store visits more convenient.

As Digital Product Manager, you will:

  • Use data and research to identify customer needs and pain points
  • Work with stakeholders in brands to identify business needs
  • Work with design and development teams to define solutions
  • Manage product roadmap for your product/capability
  • Work with stakeholders to align on product roadmap priorities based on value in the context of business goals and strategy
  • Develop features and epics for our development team
  • Develop experience design with our design team
  • Work with product owners and developers to deliver products to market

Our Digital experience team at Ahold Delhaize is responsible for creating digital capabilities, products and services, enabling our brands to help their customers eat well, save time, live better. Product managers and designers on the digital experience team do that by transforming our customer

experience, based on customer insight, data, passion for creating a great experience that delights customers, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of millions of our customers.


We welcome caring colleagues who

  • Combine a degree in Bachelor’s degree in Design, Technology or Business Studies with 7 years of experience working in e-commerce and digital
  • Are versed in payments ecosystem (this is critical), using data & analytics to improve your product, have experience in leading and running complex projects and/or programs
  • Are fluent in English and have and strong communication skills (writing and speaking)
  • Have a genuine passion for improving customer experiences and a strong technical foundation and business acumen
  • Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, plus efficient decision making skills
  • Have the ability to prioritize well and to anticipate and resolve problems
  • Have a proven record of creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Have a clear dedication to your profession and the ability to work well independently
  • Are as caring, courageous and growth-minded as your colleagues, and are happy to embrace and advocate the #daretocare philosophy
  • We are open to candidates working from our office in Brussels, Athens, Prague, Belgrade, or Bucharest who are willing to travel to the Zaandam (Netherlands) office frequently.
