Your new work environment Â
In this role, you will be part of the NFR Netherlands team responsible for strategic sourcing within the Hired Services category on local and European levels. Therefore, experience in sourcing within the Hired Services category is key. You have proven experience in Payment Solutions and other financial services, Mobility solutions, Consultancy and/ or Facility services. Â

Not For Resale sourcing (NFR) is organized to optimally leverage Ahold Delhaize’s footprint in Europe and drive Ahold Delhaize’s saving programs. As Strategic Sourcing Manager in Europe, you work together in cross-border category teams to run European and local sourcing events. We are a European department with teams in 6 European countries where Ahold Delhaize is active. The NFR department is responsible for sourcing all Not for Resale goods and services. Collaboration with various stakeholders within our strong local brands enables us to act as one company towards our suppliers and provide better value for our brands.Â

Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:Â
•   Developing and executing the Hired Services category strategy;Â
•   Selection and contracting of current and new suppliers;Â
•   Support internal stakeholders to excel in their business; Â
•   Create and manage a solid relationship with our suppliers.Â

RequirementsÂ
We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements: Â
•   Combine a bachelor’s or master’s degree with around 5 years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience in Hired Services buying like Payment Solutions and other financial services, Mobility solutions, Consultancy and/ or Facility services Â
•   Have proven experience in delivering savings in (international) trade, sourcing or retailÂ
•   Have the ability to work with legal templatesÂ
•   Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch as well as in English Â
•   Strong negotiation skills Â
•   You are willing to travelÂ
 Â
Aside from these hard skills, we think you should also bring some much-valued soft skills to the table: Strong negotiating skills, outspoken communication skills in both Dutch and English and you’re willing to travel.
