How you can
make a difference

.

FoodTech is hot! If you’re looking for a challenging senior tech leadership role with impact and scale, but you don’t want to move away from solving tech challenges and working with engineers daily, keep reading.

About how we fill the plates of more than 6 million customers

Albert Heijn goes way back; more than 130 years, to be exact. For millions of people, food shopping is synonymous with the Albert Heijn brand. We didn’t achieve this with a complacent, ‘hey, if it works today, it’ll work tomorrow’ approach, but by continually rethinking our propositions and staying plugged in to customer demands.

  • Over 16 million transactions per week? Check.
  • Over 20 million assortment changes per day? Check.
  • Over 2 million promo calculations for 500 thousand customers per day in over 1,200 stores? Check.
  • The leading food tech platform? Check.

We build it, we run it and we love it.

So, what’s next?

We want to accelerate our transition into a hybrid Food & Tech company by leveraging data and technology to future-proof grocery shopping. Our goal is to make better food more easily accessible to everyone. At AH Technology, you team up with inspiring peers in the data, digital and tech domains. A community of diverse individuals who share a common purpose: to engineer solutions that make shopping simpler and more inspiring, both online and in our stores. We invest heavily in tech.
